I attended this gig and have two original tickets. Printed in Red only and its 1977 NOT 1976. It was the last Public gig they did in UK. They sounded great – as top of their form. I also have a broken in half Paul Cook drum stick thrown out at the end. Sid borrowed a nude pink tie for the gig from Gt Yar Fanzine editor Mark Hails. We argued with him to give it back afterwards. Caused a commotion as Sid always did. All the band came to see what was going on – as we were last to leave.We did NOT treat them as heroes – just as other Punks = equals. There was police waiting outside. Only half full, not all punks some musios hippie types too.I spoke to Paul cook and Steve Jones – as they mixed with crowd before hand.
Dub reggae played before the gig. John did costume change with safari hat!Jordan was not there this time.No one did cameras then pity really! Rayant 18
